Brazed Tooling or Carbide Tipped tooling is the most common tooling.  A couple advantages of brazed tooling are initial lower cost and used most often in short runs or one time projects. This tooling  may be sharpened repeatedly, although the profile may change slightly.   Brazed Tooling is offered for routers, shapers, saws, to name a few.
